Legendary American power metal band is touring the European continent

Heavy metal militants Manowar have come out with brand new music. And it’s not just anything, but “Laut Und Hart Stark Und Schnell”, a song dedicated to their German fans, in thanks for “over 40 years of loyalty and support.”
The band, currently consisting of the creative core, Joey DeMaio (bass) and Eric Adams (vocals) succeeds their most recent EP, Highlights from the Revenge of Odysseus, released in 2022 via the Magic Circle Music imprint.
It was also in the same year that the line-up suffered another change, and at a stellar level: Dave Chedrick (ex-Hirax, Raven) took over the drums in place of Anders Johansson (ex-Hammerfall, Yngwie Malmsteen), and legendary guitarist Michael Angelo Batio (ex-Nitro) occupies the post due to the departure of Brazilian guitarist E. V. Martel, who left citing “personal reasons”.
When asked about the meaning of the song and the title, bassist and songwriter Joey DeMaio explained, “We have the best and most passionate fans, anywhere in the world and we are deeply honored by that! This song is a statement to our fans and the world to be proud of the things that matter to them, no matter what others say about it.”
The group leader continues, “It’s no secret that we have a special relationship with Germany. Maybe because it is the birthplace of Richard Wagner, the father of Heavy Metal. The German fans took us into their hearts faster and in greater numbers than any other nation.”
De Maio adds that “they have been loyal to us for more than 40 years! This release is our thanks! We will perform the song at our German concerts and also film it to then share these special moments with the world!”
The title of the track couldn’t mean more Manowar more: “Loud, strong and fast”, and not for nothing, it relates to the classic sound of the American brigade formed in New York in the class of 1980. Recorded at Asgard Studios in the hometown, the composition and production is signed by Joey DeMaio.
