Record comes out at the end of July via Rock of Angels Records

Chris Boltendahl, also known for being the voice of German band Grave Digger, has announced his first solo flight. Reborn In Flames is the title of the album that will come under the alias Chris Boltendahl’s Steelhammer, out July 28, 2023 via ROAR stamp – Rock of Angels Records.
Unlike his main band, his album bears his own signature on production, mixing and mastering, done at Graveyard Studio in Cologne, Germany. From the 11 tracks present on the upcoming record, 10 are made by Chris in partnership with the guitarist Tobias Kersting, who also collaborated on the arrangements. The 13th track is a version of Midnight Oil’s “Beds Are Burning”.
The cover artwork is by Uwe Jarling, with concept by Chris Boltendahl, and the promotional photos, taken in Düsseldorf, signed by Jens Howorka. The line-up present in the album is configured with vocalist Chris, Tobias Kersting (guitar), Lars Schneider (bass) and Patrick Klose (drums).
As a portfolio, Reborn In Flames a subsequent album to Symbol of Eternity, released by Grave Digger – who also recently played at Summer Breeze Brasil last April – in 2022. The next step will be the release of the first single, still without disclosed date. However, on social networks there are already images of their music video. Let’s wait and see.
