The successor to ‘Vera Cruz’ is scheduled to be released in August 2023

Edu Falaschi has announced the first special appearance from his upcoming studio album, Eldorado. It will be the Guatemalan singer-songwriter Sara Curruchich. Her songs are sung in Kaqchikel, her native language of Mayan origin, a civilization that arose in Mexico around 2500 years before Christ.
Sara’s voice will help illustrate the story started on the album Vera Cruz (2021), now making a relationship between the Aztecs, the Black Bishop and the Spanish. However, another goal of the ex-Angra is to pay homage to his Latin roots.
A native of San Juan Comalapa, the artist and activist accounts for two studio albums: Somos (2019) and Mujer Indígena (2021); and numerous performances in her home country, Europe, and North America.
Eldorado is scheduled for release in August 2023 and will showcase the same line-up as the previous record. Edu Falaschi will be joined by his Angra band mates; drummer Aquiles Priester and keyboardist Fabio Laguna. Completing the line-up are guitarists Diogo Mafra and Roberto Barros, and bassist Raphael Dafras.
The production of Eldorado will be signed by Edu in partnership with Roberto Barros and Paulo Albino. The singer will also do the choir part, in which he counts with Fabio Caldeira (Maestrick, Soulspell), Raissa Ramos and Mi Alvelli. As for the orchestrations, these are again in the hands of Pablo Greg, who worked on Vera Cruz.
